In this project, the client wanted something simple with clean lines, giving a minimalitic feel. They had a preference for a black, white and grey colour scheme. The definite must-haves were a walk-in-wardrobe and lots of storage space.
The dining area had no windows that allowed light in. This caused the space to be pretty dark.
An open concept kitchen was proposed to open up space, creating it as part of the dining area. The walls were hacked off to allow better light and flow of space. With a nice pendant light, an accent wall (darker grey) and a long white dining table to contrast with its background, it accentuates the width of the dining space.
The End Result
The dining area now becomes a focal point of the house integrated with an open kitchen.
A hidden master bathroom entrance was also integrated with the Master bedroom’s TV wall feature. With 2 rooms converted into 1, behind the TV wall is an open pole system wardrobe with an island dresser that creates a boutique style wardrobe space.
